At 7:27pm on March 2, 2010, Mujahid Abdul Aleem said…: shukran for the support. actually i lead jumuah last friday and ta'leem last sunday mashallah. every time i speak i improve. the first time i did jumuah the imam called in sick giving me an hour to prepare the khutbah. since then i became real grounded in arabic and understanding the Quran and Prophet(SAWS). So do you know arabic

At 4:07pm on March 2, 2010, Mujahid Abdul Aleem said…: Well I was lost and religion and i couldn't any of my questions answered. I started doin some studyin and Islam seemed interesting. Then one of my aunts gave me Quran she received from back in the 70's but she never read it like that. I read it and it made so much sense. Later my friend invited me to his mosque but it was a NOI mosque. After leaving i knew that wasnt the Islam in the Quran. My grandma heard of my interest in Islam and put me in touch with her friend who happened to be the neighborhood imam. After a few times of goin to the masjid, i took shahadah around xmas time. I loved it ever since.
