As salaamu alaikum family,

There are many challenges that face Muslims today. It helps to change our perspective on how we can actually meet those challenges and offer solutions to some of the issues we experience. I use different tools as outreach to encourage Muslims in whatever way I can. One issue is hijab. All muslims, men and women are obligated to wear hijab in public places. Since I'm a girl--naturally I feel strongly about encouraging the beautiful Muslims I'm blessed to come across to observe hijab in a way that makes them feel beautiful without compromising a duty to Allah. I took a minute and sorted out my feelings and wrote a piece called "Chic In Sunnah". If we would all stop making empty complaints about the faults that we perceive and count our abilities to see such as a blessing that allows us to help to improve things. How far ahead we all would be.........and put aside the petty differences that we have in the name of Community advancement....Come on....We cannot stop now!!!!... Long Live.....Imam WDM
